Every day I’m asked to share tips on influencer marketing – today’s version of doing PR. I’ve summed them up and will deliver them in a one-day bootcamp at SFU on October 1st.
There’s a few spots left at this hands-on #InfluencerMarketing course. Who should take it? It’s ideal for communications, marketing, public relations, branding and digital content professionals who would benefit from a day of intense training on how to use digital search tools and social media channels to reach new audiences.
By the end of the day, you will have experimented with the most popular social search tools to identify influencers, be able to define the basic goals of a campaign and know how to monitor it for signs of success. Examples of current influencer marketing campaigns from a variety of brands, including B2C, B2B and governments, will be showcased throughout the day.
You’ll need a laptop or tablet to complete in-class assignments on leading social media platforms. It’s recommended that you have accounts on popular platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Google+.
