Fawn Mulcahy
Fawn brings her marketing communications expertise to connect brands with audiences – and more importantly, audiences with brands – through both traditional and non-traditional media.
Fawn’s been working as a consultant for over 25 years, both independently and in some of Vancouver’s best-known agencies. Her first PR role was with The Barkley Gazeley Group in 1991 before she joined the Cossette Group of Companies in 1999 where she worked in the company’s Optimum Public Relations and Altius Sport Marketing Divisions.
Post agency, Fawn was a member of the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) as an Events Manager, working with the sponsor family. She most recently managed the sponsorship portfolio for the British Columbia division of a major Canadian corporation.
Her experience is augmented by a long history of cheering on, leading and mentoring professionals, both in the workplace and in the classroom. Throughout her career, she has led high-performing teams, Olympic athletes and students embarking on new career paths. Fawn has been sharing her knowledge with aspiring communicators for more than 17 years as a Public Relations instructor at Langara College, Simon Fraser University – Continuing Studies and BCIT.
Fawn has an Arts and Science Diploma from Langara College and a Bachelor of Arts from UBC where she studied Philosophy.
